Hand Guide
Here is a simple hand size diagram that you can use to check for the correct Pickleball paddle size:
- Hold your hand out in front of you, palm up and fingers together.
- Measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the middle of your palm.
- Use the following guidelines to determine the appropriate paddle size based on your hand measurement:
-
Player Height...........Grip Size
Under 5'2".......4 inch grip
5'3" to 5'8".....4.25 inch grip
5'9" & taller...4.50 inch grip
- Hand measurement up to 7 inches: 4.00 - 4.25 inch grip
- Hand measurement 7-8 inches: 4.25 - 4.50 inch grip
- Hand measurement 8 inches or larger: 4.50+ inch grip
Note that these are just general guidelines, and the right paddle size for you may also depend on your personal preference and playing style. It is always a good idea to try out different paddle sizes and grips to find the one that feels most comfortable and suits your needs.
Measure Grip
Use this measurement to choose the appropriate size grip for your pickleball paddle when purchasing one. If the measurement falls between sizes, it is usually recommended to go with the larger size for a more comfortable grip.
